A commitment to the talents of tomorrow
Year after year, at the foot of the inspiring Montagne Sainte-Victoire, a number of local and national talents reveal their Art at events, both for the general public and for professionals, organised by the passionate men and women of Maison Gassier.
The Gassier Sommellerie Challenge
This competition, introduced in 2019 by Gassier, was made possible with the support of the Association de Sommellerie Alpes Marseille Provence (ASAMP) and the Association des Sommeliers Formateurs (ASF). Designed for young sommelier students, the competition provides them with a unique opportunity to showcase their talent and promote the terroir and winegrowers of Provence.
Driven by their passion, these new talents will strive to make this terroir shine on the finest gastronomic tables in France and beyond its borders.
This challenge has been supported by prestigious patrons since its inception, all of whom have played a major role in shaping the competition:

Philippe Faure-Brac (World’s Best Sommelier)
Florent Martin (France’s Best Sommelier)
Gaëtan Bouvier (France’s Best Sommelier, Master of Port and Meilleur Ouvrier de France)

Since 2019, under the benevolent and exacting eye of these great names in sommellerie, several fresh faces have been revealed by the Gassier Sommellerie Challenge:
Daphnée Extrassiaz, Marie Wodecki, Andréa Chassaing, Justine Droit, Lou Ulian, Noé Richard and Maxime Jayne.
Gassier and culture
Since 2014, Maison Gassier has returned culture to the heart of a valley that once nurtured the inspiration of great artists.
Now, every summer, a host of movers and shakers from the local scene come to create new experiences and new memories for an increasingly loyal audience: artists, singers, comedians, DJs, astronomy enthusiasts (Association of Amateur Astronomers of Aix), a festival (Les Musicales dans les Vignes) and restaurateurs.
Each year, thousands of visitors take refuge in this peaceful haven to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in an unforgettable summer experience. On the agenda: Stargazing, Sunset music, Open-air cinema and Comedy Club. These exclusive events turn summer into a season of cultural discoveries and positive energy overlooking the Sainte-Victoire vineyards.
